I went for it and opened up an Etsy shop today! You can go check it out here. I still have some cosmetic work to do, but hopefully it will look great soon. You can still buy stuff from my blog and some of the prices are a little cheaper than through Etsy because I don't have overhead on the blog. If you have any questions let me know.

Stuart Family Christmas Party

The week before Christmas we had a fun Christmas Party with my mom's family. We had dinner, a present exchange with all of the little kids, and a white elephant exchange with the adults. We of course also had a nativity.

Zack, Austin, and Gavin were the 3 wisemen. Gavin was hilarious! He apparently thought that since he was on stage and there was an audience that they were all there for him. He was being such a ham! Nobody could even focus on the story because we were all laughing so hard at Gavin. Unfortunately Aaron didn't get any video, but just picture a darling, cute, hilarious little red head.

He would walk up the stairs on one side and then go down the other side head first, I don't know where this kid gets his silliness from, but man I don't know what I would ever do without him!

Do you love their awesome crowns? Aaron went to Burger King to get crowns and of course they were doing a promotion so these were the only ones they had. Yes, I could have made my own, but my stress levels were slightly high so something had to be easy.

Church History Museum

For our preschool field trip in December one of the mom's decided we would go the the Church History Museum because she had heard they had a kid area with a nativity that they could interact with. When we showed up the volunteers informed us the kid's area was closed for remodeling. Thankfully the ladies took pity on us and found these crafts in a back room that the kids had a great time doing. They got to decorate a Christmas tree with stickers and then color a manger for baby Jesus.

I'm trying to get my act together!

I wasn't going to post these pictures because they are from a couple of months ago and I'm so behind, but I can't resist the cuteness of my kids. And right now I need to focus on the cuteness of my trouble makers!

Back in November we were playing outside one day and I decided to rake up the leaves. Well my kids decided they would be fun to play in and were being so cute that I had to run in and get the camera (plus it's nice to get proof of me doing work :) ).

Zack was getting so upset because Austin and Gavin kept running through the leaves and throwing them and he wanted everybody to just sit nice in the leaves so the leaves would cover them.

Thank goodness for the my husband!

My day started off today with me deciding that I needed to spend some good time with my kids outside so I figured after we got back from visiting teaching I would let them ride their new bikes outside.

Well we came home from visiting teaching and were attempting to ride bikes. Austin and Zack are having a hard time figuring out that coordination of pedaling and I did not bring my patience with us outside so it turned in to a lot of whining from them and too much frustration from me. Then Zack decided to not go inside when he needed to go to the bathroom (which has been happening a lot lately! Any ideas for help?) which made me even more upset so we went inside. Austin decided to soon follow the example of his brother! Aaaaaah!!!

So I told them they weren't allowed to play with their legos today because that's been one of their favorite toys lately. But, of course while I was laying Gavin down for his nap they decided to get them out. So I told them they couldn't watch their movie until they put them away. 1 1/2 hours later and the legos still weren't put away so I told them they lost their movie for the day. I'm pretty sure all I do all day is talk to myself!

Since they weren't watching a movie they were being loud and playing rough upstairs so I sent them downstairs to play. Well I went to check on them a little later and this is what I found:
What is that you ask? My brand new bag that just needed sewn around the top and it was all ready for use. Of course I love the fabric and haven't seen it again since I bought it. If I had left the scissors out then at least it would have been my fault, but I didn't!

Of course right at that time is when Gavin decided to wake up from his 20 min nap crying inconsolably. So my poor husband got a nice phone call from his wife who was in tears. He hurried home and took care of dinner, Austin's second accident of the day, and putting the kids in bed. Then he went and cleaned up the mess downstairs so I wouldn't have to. What would I ever do without him!
