Random Pictures of January
Gavin was trying to spring free of his confinement and was not happy when he got stuck in this position. So being the good parents that we are we got the camera before helping our child in distress.Austin apparently thought there were better uses for his underwear than wearing it like playing peek-a-boo
and showing off his cute tushy!
Didn't you know that GeoTrax controllers can also be used as shoes?
After Rozlyn was born we went to take them dinner and to get to hold that sweet girl again. Rozlyn was one of the most expressive babies I've ever seen, she is constantly making faces.
I know you're probably thinking "how sweet, they're hugging." Let me show you the truth.
This is the scene at our house 12 hours a day and that's only because they are sleeping the other 12.
He got a little too close to the scene.
This is Froggy. He has become Gavin's constant companion. He has to have him for sleeping and everything else.
I'm not sure if I'm getting the stink eye or he's practicing his winking, but either way I think he's cute.
Austin
Zack
And some cute smiles to end the post.

Rozlyn
On January 14th we were so lucky to be able to welcome the 2nd niece to our family (on my side). Our boys were so excited to see her and were fascinated with every little bit of her.And who could have blamed them, look at how cute she is!
She had very wrinkled, dry skin. I think she was very well-done.
Look at the cute family!
We were just happy to go and snuggle that sweet baby newness and then leave her with her parents. :)

Snow Day
The snow storm in the first of January was one of the first times I braved getting all 3 kids ready and taking them outside to play myself. I love seeing the magical feeling that snow brings to little kids. Austin and Zack had a great time playing, but Gavin could not walk in his snow boots so it was a frustrating, miserable experience for him. He would be fine until he tried to move and then he would have a little temper tantrum, I felt so bad for him!
AustinThey loved making snowballs to throw at me.
Zack
They also loved eating the snow and then showing me that it was on their tongues.
And this is how Gavin spent the majority of our time out there.

Christmas
Christmas started out great by me getting put on call (I was supposed to work from 1-7 in the morning). After Zack and Austin woke up (we woke up Gavin) we read our last scriptures that was on our chart and then said a prayer and then Aaron went out first to capture the boy's faces.I still feel like a little kid myself when it comes to Christmas, but there is something so magical about having little kids around.
Going through their stockings. They got lucky and even though they put in very late requests for gifts Santa still came through. Austin got a castle with a dragon and Zack got a black train. Gavin didn't care what he got.
They all got a Cars Geo Trax set which they were very excited about and a few other odds and ends.
Gavin obviously found the chocolate in his stocking. :)
After opening presents we had our traditional breakfast of caramel rolls. Then we got ready and went up to Aaron's parent's house.Austin and Zack got lucky and got to open birthday and Christmas presents. The boys got a lot of fun new toys and we had fun seeing everyone.
Then we went to my parent's house where my mom gave us way too much as always. We all helped my parents pay to fly Angie and her fiance over here so it was nice to have the whole family there. After we went to my Grandparent's to say hi. Then finally we made it back home that night after a long day. It was a great Christmas!

Christmas Eve
We went to my parents for our Christmas Eve dinner. My sister and her fiance had just flown in so we were all excited to see them. My dad made Chicken Ala King which we have every year. There was a lot of wrestling, game playing, and eating. We all had a great time!If you look close you will see 3 bodies there.
This video makes me laugh because it is totally representative of every waking moment in our house.
After we went home and the boys all got to open their new pajamas.Sadly this is the best picture I have, it was between this one and one of Gavin pushing Austin.
Getting the cookies out for Santa and the carrots for the reindeer. Yes, those are oreos, don't judge I was a bit overwhelmed at the time and didn't have time to make cookies.
We turned around after setting them out and looked back at Gavin and he had apparently decided to test out the cookies for Santa. I love his look like "what are you looking at?".
